Father's Day Gift Ideas

Hey everyone, happy Father's Day! I hope you're all having a great time with your dads, or remembering them if they're not with you. I wanted to share a memory about my dad and how he inspired me to pursue my passion.

When I was a kid, I loved music and even learned to read music when I was six. I would spend hours playing my parents old upright piano, learning scales and playing simple songs from my mother's old music books.

One day, my dad surprised me with a gift. It was a $20 guitar he found in a local hardware store. I was so surprised and excited to learn how to play it. Later, he and my mom bought me a Beatles songbook. Instead of playing the piano, I spent hours learning to play the guitar.

I was hooked. I started to practice every day, following the instructions and learning chords.

My dad saw my progress and enthusiasm. For my 15th birthday, he bought me an electric guitar. He's gone now and I wish I could play music on the guitar for him. He'd love it.

Thanks to him, I pursued one of my passions.
