The beautiful mountain landscapes in the Great Smoky Mountains are like no others. Hiking in the Smoky Mountains has always been a family favorite of ours. When we are not there, the mountains are always calling! Therefore, John Muir's quote: "the mountains are calling and I must go" really speaks to us. This photo was taken from the top of Mt. LeConte, the morning after snow fell in the higher elevations.
